nursery thoughts - pink and yellow

so the last time i talked kind gender-neutrally about an owl-themed nursery.  today i'm focusing on a girl's nursery.  as i said previously, i don't really see us doing a traditional pink nursery for a little girl, but i'm not necessarily afraid of using pink as an accent color along with other colors.  i found this picture through hellobee on pinterest, and i really love this idea.

the picture is a little dark, but it's basically yellow walls with pink and white accents.  love.  it's girly without being too girly.  here are some of my thoughts for how i would do this color combination.

i am obsessed with that ikea rug, and at $20, it's a steal!  and i totally love that egg nightlight, but it's insanely expensive, so it'll never happen.  i tried to find a palette on design seeds to reflect what i'm thinking, but i got lost in all of it, so you'll just have to use your imagination.

I love this! I hate baby blue and pale pink rooms. This color scheme is perfect!
